How old are you? I might sound like an old fogey on this, but I don't think you should be having sex if:

a. You're not in love with the person and

b. You're under the age of 18.

You should at least be in love with the dude; just don't have random sex! I'm not saying you will, but you didn't provide a lot of information...

But nah, your mom won't be able to tell...

You will probably be a bit health forum or acting a bit wierd after, but she wont be able to tell by the way you look. Just act calm, cool and collected, dont make a big deal out of it.

Please make sure you do it with the right person!! I dont want to see you dumped and hurt! Have a upper hand on the guy. Trust me I was so stupid, many times with guys. I was used, left, and hurt. I don't want you to feel like I did. It can be tough to deal with, but it made me smarter and stronger!

You Might Thik You Are Ready
I know I don't know you, but I definitely think you should wait. I am lucky to have married the man I lost my virginity with. Do you know that medically speaking when you have sex with someone, you are also having sex with every other person they have been with. If you just want to lose your virginity than wait!!! There is no hurry to maybe get pregnant or to get one or more std's. Your mom loves you and does not want you to get hurt emotionally or physically. If you think the first time is going to be like the movies, its not. I hurt like crazy. Slow down. It will happen. When a guy really loves you, he won't expect it.

Well, I didn't have any pain my first time, but my bf is very gentle.

Still, make sure you're having sex witht he guy who is right for you, and not just a sex-buddy!

It is in the sole sense that you may contract any std's that she has gotten from those guys.

i was lucky enough to wait until I found the man I married and let me tell you sex was so much more special because of it. It meant a lot to him that I saved myself for him. It was very much so worth the wait.
But if you do feel your mature enough to have sex, then why not tell your mom. Give her valid reasons and present your argument to her in an intelligent way. Tell her it is your body, and so on. Let her know that you would like she support.

Good luck, but think it through

Ok, so what if she doesn't have std's?..It's not the same is it!?.,,i am just bothered by this cuz I haven't had sex with my g/f..Or with neone..And she has before.. It's hard for me to deal with. I would have loved for her to save herself, but she went through some rough times. However, she keeps telling me in her mind she feels she is still a virgin..And with me it would be makin love..Not sex..

The whole "it's like sleeping with everyone they've slept with" is like a metaphor, trying to get people to think twice about having un-protected sex. The point isn't really "you're having sex with all the men she's had sex with!" it's more a phrase to get you use your head and use protection: ie a condom!

Don't be in a hurry. Losing virginity is ones in a lifetime. Be sure that when you give it you will not regret what you've done.

Its not metaphor, you are literally passing on with everyone you have sex with things that might be in your system.

Don't just have sex though, because everyone else is. You sound like your ready which is good. But only do what you want to do. You are you own individual self, if anyone tries to change your mind on something, stop them. And like kimx said, your virginity is a once in a lifetime thing. It's something special to share with someone you love. Don't do it and then regret it; wait till both your heart and head say 'yes'.
