I'm a 20 year old (unfit and unhealthy!) student from ireland, and started getting these weird feelings about 5 days ago. At first I worried that it might be a heart problem, but then I started getting gas...
It feels like I have pressure on my chest and occasionally I have a little shortness of breath. Also i've been taking various chewy tablets to get rid of the gas in my stomach, but it feels like theres a bubble of gas right in the middle of my chest, beside my heart. Occasionally I also get little pains in various places in my upper/mid chest.
Does this sound like trapped wind? If it is, would it realistically be stuck there for this long?
Please help!
Cheers.

Along with the shortness of breath, i'm also getting occasional sharp pains in various places in my chest. And a general feeling like i've just run a marathon...

Any suggestions?
