Q: Bumps On Aureola

I have 3-4 bumps on my aureola in different places...Not just around the edges. Also, there is one directly on the nipple. This is only on my left breast and they have been here for years. They are the same color as the rest of my aureola and are smooth. What are they and is this normal?

Bumps around the aeriola are uaually normal. Unless they are massivly huge and hurting you, dont let it bother you. I'm not exsactly sure what they are and why we have them!

Montgomery glands. From time to time they might dispell a little fluid. Girls seem to notice them more when pregnant and they spill a water proof cleanser for the nipple for the baby when breast fed. I noticed mine up until about 10 or more years after my last child. Then they went away. But recently have returned as I am 11 weeks pregnant with no uterus. I am now 43
