I have had bad headaches and neck pain for a few months now. Four weeks ago I went into the er with the worst headache i've ever had. I was vomiting a lot and had a fever (i've had the fever ever since then). I have the headaches all day long, usually varying degrees of pain. They usually start in the back of my head and progress to my temples and or behind my eyes. I had a cat scan, no results, and a spinal tap that showed a white blood cell count of 67. I have been checked for meningitis, west nile, mono, thyroid problems and a few other things i'm not sure of but everything is normal. I'm dizzy, fatigued, and sick to my stomach and often throw up daily. Two weeks ago I got some kind of flu. It started with a sore throat, then I got a stuffy nose and cough. I'm pretty much over it now, just a cough, but the headaches and other symptoms are still here. I am tired of feeling like crap! I've had to drop out of school and can't even really go out of the house with out eventually having to go back home feeling like crap. Does this sound familiar to anyone or anyone have any ideas????

It sounds like it could be migraine, which can start out of the blue, especially in women in their late teens to early 30s. (you mentioned being in school, so I assume you're fairly young.)

if you have insurance, your best bet is to see your doctor and explain your headaches and nausea. There are drugs that abort migraines and others that try to prevent them from happening in the first place.

Take care.
