Q: Hi I'm New

Hi. My name's yoshi. I'm 17 years old and engaged to be married in april 2007. Yea I know its a long ways away but he's going to let me finish high school and get established in college. Anyway my fiance, edward, wants to have a baby and well so do I but im wondering if i'm crazy. We love each other a lot and we've been best friends for years. He said that he wanted to have a baby in the next two or three years and I am scared. I had a miscarriage a couple years ago. Im afaid that it was my fault. Can anyone tell me what I can do to prepare for getting pregnant? Btw dont worry about me being one of those ditzy ppl who thinks babies are super cute and I want to play with it and dress it. I know babies are hard work, 2 am feedings drooling all over the place, random fevers, dirty diapers, but the pros are so much more than the cons.

Taylor ur so mean, if this site is such a joke then why do u keep coming on it???? Some girls actually come here for answers to there problems and and just because it seems u have no life dosent mean u should bash this site.

Feels Like Forever

We've been engaged for about 4 months, but i've known him for about three years and i'll be moving in with him in may. We both have jobs and we have money in separate savings accounts.

First, think if you really want to have a baby now. Just because he wants to have one dosnt mean you have to!!

If you decide to try to conceive, go to the doctor and talk to him about how to prepare and stuff...

That girl taylor and that little pineapple need to get somewhere else if they're just gonna be playing around wasting other's people's time reading all that . If you really have a life, go get it somewhere else....

Anyways, for you,
it sound to me like you're not rady for a baby. Think about it... If you really were, you wouldn't have to ask anyone else for their opinion. It seems like you may feel like maybe you do want that because you really love him. I would say seriously think about it after you guys move in together cuz that's when you trully get to know a person. Get settled in first. As of right now, think about prom and graduation. If you guys are gonna get married and be together for ever, what's the rush? So just hold it off for right now and think about it after graduation and after ya move in.

we do have another forum but we like to poke our heads in and see what stuff is going on here...This used to be our forum, until lil snots came in and ruined it :d, but this was years ago and you'd no nothing about it.

Hmm

I guess im more afraid of life after a baby than I am about having one. I know all the things that can go wrong I know all the headaches and the things you have to give up. I guess I kinda wanna hera that not all parents have a hard time and that it is possible to raise a child if you are still young. Ionno. I guess im afraid of failing my child if I have one.

Thanks for all your help I talked to him and he said he understands my fear and all that. He's going to go with me to the doctor next month and we'll talk to her about it.
