About 4 months ago I had been experiencing a tightning sensation at my neck which I thought might of been high blood pressure as the nurse at work had said when I began working at my current job, that it was a bit high. Then the week following I ws sitting in a training session, and about 30 mins into it I started to feel hot and sweaty, then my heart started racing for no reason and I experienced palpatations, I felt asthough I was going to black out. At this point I felt what I would describe as a twang in my chest, after which my pulse started returning back to normal, and I felt a little weak. I managed to keep looking normal as noone seemed to notice, and by the end of the training I felt ok again.

Since then this hasn't happened again, althogh my heart does race for no reason sometimes. Does it sound like I may have a problem? The only explanation I can put is I experimented with ecstasy 2 years ago, and took around 6 over a 12 hour period. The next day I was fine, but on the second day I had something similar to what I described above, almost passing out and feeling tightness around my neck, etc etc.

Could this be related so long after taking the drug, or could I have damaged my circulation/heart in some way?

I'm 24 years old, smoke and don't do as much exercise as I know I should.

Heart Problem
Hello I am a 27 year old female having the same problems as you only that it happens alot. You should go to a cardiologist and have a sonogram of the heart that what I did. They say I have an abnormality and they really didnt tell me what it is. But I have to go for another echo sonogram again. I would not mess around with what you are feeling. The diffrence from the kneck pain and me is that I feel like someone is steping on my left chest then my arm becomes week and I start to get tired sometimes even feel like I am going to pass out and colapse. You sould really tell your doctor and yes that type of drug can couse you problems with the muscles in your heart to not function the way they are suppose to you could even damaged it especially with six pills in 12 hours of that drug.
