Bad breath can often be the first sign of a disease. But how do doctors define bad breath and what are the major causes of bad breath?...
Did you know that bad breath can be associated with sinus problems? Learn more about the common (and unfamiliar) causes of bad breath here....

Q: Severe Tooth Decay At 18!?!?!

My teeth have became severely decayed over the last couple of years due to several factors (drug-use, fizzy drink addiction  ) and they probably need taken out.

But, I am really embarressed about going to see a dentist, being so young and with my teeth in such a poor and shocking condition and the social factor of having false teeth so young. And I need to go now because at the moment I can recieve free dental care under the uk's national health service because I am still a student but I am so nervous about being judged by the dentist(s) and other ppl.

Can anyone please please please offer me some words of comfort and advice?!

Thanks in advance

Well...I advise you to go to your dentist...Especially due to the fact that you have free dental care...Many people such as myself don't. I had the exact same problem...I just went in there and told them about my teeth and my addictions and why they were like that before I even showed them my teeth, they were very understanding. Just go in and say your piece...Get your teeth fixed before you can't, just think of having a great smile...Its well worth it! :d

Thanks for that. I have already been and it turns out I only need dentures in a couple of areas of my mouth. The dentists were okay and understanding about it as you said. It'll sure be nice to enjoy a piece of chocolate with excruciating pain :d

i get my dentures fitted next week
