Actually, no. They have gone away or have scared, and there haven't been any recurrences. So i'm assuming it could have been a spider bite or something that has spread for a short period

Umm this might seem odd to you but I get them too, I have no clue what they are but they normally go away after a few day if I just leave them alone. If you do figure out what they are, could you tell me?

Three weeks ago I noticed a bump on my butt and I scratched it.....A bunch of liquid came out, and later on that day it started to swell really big and became extremely painful.....Anyhow, I went to the doctor, got antibiotics (they told me it was some kind of bite)

k so now the bite is almost healed, (it got really bad, absessed) and suddenly another bump appeared, only this time like a mosquito bite only it scabs over in the middle when its healing, and it kinda hurts like a pimple.....That one healed, and another one appeared! Now I have 2, one is hopefully healing.....They are all on my butt, and only on one cheek....


Wierd thing is, you said you just moved into a new apartment....Well none of this happened till I moved into my apartment a month ago!!!!!!


I'm wondering if this could be some kind of allergic reaction to something they use to clean apartments, I don't know!!!!! I hate it! My butt is gonna be all scarred up!

I haven't gotten any recurrences... And this did only happen when I moved into my apartment ( which was about 1 1/2 months ago). I think that maybe my roommate's cat might have had fleas or something..
When I got them, they mostly appeared only on one buttcheak too and now I have a bunch of scars left from it. So i'm going to go to the dermatologist to see how I can get rid of the scars.
Occasionally I get a tiny pimple on my butt that grows to be fluid-filled and then it basically shrinks down after a day and is only a tiny red dot. I think that anyone with similar symptoms should talk to their dermatologist about it. It could be caused by a mite or flea....It could be lots of things. So it's better to get it checked out.
If anyone has any similar symptoms or stories...Please let me know!! And how you dealt with it ( ie: medications, creams)

hey well i noticed them all around on my butt little red bumps like the size of a bug bite!!! well i think i have a reason when u site for too long and you start sweeting and you get up and it is a little raw or tender and your pants or shorts or what ever you are wearing sticks to ur butt that might be a reason because i play World Of Warcraft and i am on the computer playing and my butt sweats so that could be a reason. if any questions about what i just wrote my e-mail is (we dont share private email adresses on the website) You can use the PM feature.

I get them too. They pop up, itch, dry up and go away. Who knows what they are but they itch.

I would really need some advices. For, around 3 month now, i get this red ichy bumps. They appear ramdomly on the body. At the begining i was getting them kind of similar, on feet and arms, both, now is ramdomly. Their size is from big to very big. They are very very ichy. After a couple of days they desepear, but they aperar again, later. so is like i am "clean" no more than one week, max 2, and then again. Some times the reaction is not so strong, sometimes i get a very strong one, I never had problems in my ife with this kind of thing. So, please, give me some sugestions, and what i should do. I went to the doctor 2 month ago, he gave me some pills for allergy, but nothing. Could it have any connection the fact that i was pregnent, i got this things, and i misscarried, not cause of them, i believe. Maybe is a toxim thing, i don t know. Thank you

For the last 5 years, i get a cluster of red bumps too on my butt. This usually coincides with my period. They switch butts. If I get them on the right, 6 months later or so, they appear on the left and it is always during or just before my period. I havent gone to a doctor because they usually disappear before I can get an appointment. What could these be?

suddenly after school htey apeared on my butt too. theey hurt and they are only on one side my left. about a month ago i had a perisite for snalls when i went camping. it was almost the same but it was also on my arm and legs. im scaredi have hivs but i amonly 14 and still a virgin i have to no what is wrong with me.

Has anyone checked with the doctor to see if it was herpes. I get them too. They appear when i am stressed out ill get about 5 tiny bumps they itch really bad and the area swell up like a bug bite. Have it tested for skin herpes...Thats what mine were...

I take Valtrex for cold sores - but it doesn't seem to affect the rash I get on my upper thigh. It itches like crazy and comes & goes. Sun exposure makes it aweful! Cortisone creams offer some relief but its still itchy.

Sadden - what do you do you your "skin herpes"?

i get the same things as well. except mine have stayed for a while and i get them around that region. its impossible for it to be herpes, ive never had sex. as soon as i itched mine it swelled up, and i also got on on my leg. Please tell everyone if you know what it is!!

i have a similar problem i got them like almost more than a year ago and still have them to this day...they are irritated and somewhat itchy and scabbed like crazy cause i've been itching the things. but when i first, first got them they itched soooo badly and i couldn't help but to itch them so i did and that was a bad idea cause now there scabs that are furiously irritated and some are scars which suck but i dont no what they are and neither does my doctor. i'm going again to see if he will know this time. HOPEFULLY

i am having this exact same problem! im trying to figure out what it is so if any of you find out please tell me. mine havent gone away though and i have had then for 3 weeks or so. all on one cheek and about 7 of them.

My friend had that and she said that when she went to the doctor, they told her it might have been an infection or something she picked up from sitting on a porta pottie seat or something?
If you use public restroom and don't use a seat cover, sometimes you get pimple-like things that happend when the pores of your butt get infected from the bacteria on the seat.
It might be something different but to prevent this, definitely use seat covers, you could pick up some nasty bacteria that result in pimply skin bumps.

Ahh. I just started getting this red itchy spot on my butt too! And I am not sexually active, so it can't be an STD. The bump is big, like six quarters, two by two, sorry for the weird comparison. It has been in the same place both times that i've gotten it, therefore I don't see how it could be a bug bite, and it is kind of worrying me. It doesn't have puss or anything, i'm pretty positive. It just behaves like a huge itchy bug bite. Seeing as it is on my butt, I can't really see it too well, but from what I did glance at, it looks like a bug bite. It just disappears after a day or so. And it is freaking me out!

i have been getting the same thing for like 2 years now. there super itchy, but only sometimes. if i scratch them then scab and scar, i have no idea what they are. im almost 19 and had sex for the first time 6 months ago. so i know its not from that cuz i had them before that. its on the lower part of both my butt cheeks and my upper thigh like where my butt and legs join. if anyone knows what this is PLEASE HELP.
