Hi I have been and gone through similar. 10 weeks ago I miscarried a set of triplets at 22 weeks and bled for about 8 weeks. With the nature of my pregnancy and miscarriage I was heavily monitored with mid wives, consultants and councillors.

The bleeding was a concern for me and all the medics told me the same thing.

The bleeding is the body getting rid off all the bits of placenta and membrane that is left in your uterus following the birth. Continued bleeding is not a danger but is more of an inconvenience. There is a procedure available that is bascially a scrape of the uterus - can't remember what it is called but I refered to it as a "scrape". It's a very common procedure and your gp will be able to advise you more.

A d&c? Is that what you're thinking of?

Thanx but im still very upset because now im starting to feel as if I dont have any energy... I get tired from walking up maybe 5 stairs... And for a person that only weighs 120 pounds thats crazy..I need energy to be able to take care of my baby properly...I still have to work.. Moneys a must with a newborn....Plus lately I have been having really bad cramps...Isnt there aanything they can do to slow down bleeding?..Do you think they would?

after my first I bleed for 3 weeks and I just had my second 5 weeks ago,,,,,i did stop bleeding for 4 days and now its back again now for the last 5 days,,,,i hate it so much,,,no sex,,,,,,its so hard,,,,for that amount of time
