Q: Can Anyone Make Sense of This Temping??

Hi there,

my husband and I have been trying for a baby for a while now. This month I started to track my basal temp starting on day 21 of my cycle. My cycle length is usually 32 days, I am on day 32 right now with no period in sight. Thought it felt like it was going to come as I have been getting mild cramping. But for the past week I have had acid in my stomach and have had some mild nausea. I did a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. My temps have been a bit weird and I was wondering if anyone could let me know if they think the dip I had in temp down to 97.0 was very late ovulation or possibly implantation?

Here are my temps:

day 21: 97.6
day 22: 97.6
day 23: 97.7
day 24: 97.6
day 25: 97.7
day 26: 97.4
day 27: 97.6
day 28: 97.5
day 29: 97.0 weird drop in temp
day 30: 97.9
day 31: 97.9
day 32: 97.9

if anyone could give me their advice I would really appreciate it! :d

Maybe
There is something called the rule of thumb that says that an errant drop or rise in temperature can be egnored b/c it happens randomly to everyone. High temperatures can be caused by hyperthyroidism but a more likely cause is getting up to pee in the middle of the night. You must get at least 3 streight hours of sleep for the temp to work. I cannot use the bbt method b/c of this. But I have successfully used the billings method and am most likely pregnant right now. It is great not having to worry. I know that I ovulated on the 5th due to my cervical mucus and cervical position and I know that and egg was, in fact, fertalized. Now my issue is waiting to see if the little guy is going to take. About 50% of pregnancies are lost in the first 2 weeks before or during the menstrual cycle. These are called chemical pregnancies.

Update
Hi,

i am on day 34 right now with no period. Still getting the nausea and acid in my stomach. Did anohter pregnancy test this morning and it is still a negative. How long should it take for a test to be positive after a missed period. I am about 1 day late for my period right now.

Any thoughts from someone who has gone through the same thing?
