I was recently out with some friends and had about 3 beers over 3-4 hour period. I drove home later and was pulled over and blew 0.081 and was charged with a dui. I know that I was not intoxicated! I have had lupus for 2 yrs now and know not to drink, but decided to this particular evening. I'm on plaquenil, prednisone, celebrex, zoloft, and a vasodialator for the raynaulds. Does anyone know if these meds or lupus alone can cause someone to show a higher breathalizer test?? I have an attorney who is trying to help me research this, but thought that I would ask you guys. Please help!!!
