Is It Possible

Is it possible that such problems could be the cause of a increased sensitivity to the paranormal activity of the spirit world?

Could these feelings of depression, suicide and hearing voices be the effects of demons trying to control our feelings and our lives?

I think it is very possible, I sometimes (not often) but sometimes hear voices, when I pray and I have analised these voices and have come to realise that many deep spiritual realities have been revealed to me through those experiences also I have noticed a darker presence often when thinking of the spirit world without being in prayer, often feeling as if there is a evil presence and that I am being attacked - I know martin luther suffered much from increased sensitivity to the spirit world, he once through a glass off a wall because he felt the presance of satan and through it at him.

If it could be a hightened spiritual sensitivity, it can very much be seen as a gift from god, if your suffering from depression and feelings of suicide perhaps a conversion to christ and the healing power of reconcilliation through the catholic church could help prevent the darker spirits from effecting our lives so much, it could also lead you in a direction of great spirituality

I think it's possible, yes. But these things can't really be proven as being linked to god and the devil and such.

Most people believe schizophrenia to be a mental illnes: a brain disease. In theory, people hear voices, develope delusions (religious, paranoid, grandois, etc.) see things, because of a possible chemical imbalance in the brain.

I believe that the voices I hear are mostly the voices of beings from other demensions who are communicating with me through a sort of esp. And the so called delusions, are real, and I know of them because these beings from the other demensions/worlds, have sent me these warnings about the government and the world and such. Yet, everyone else thinks of me as "crazy" for my beliefs.

If someone is "schizophrenic" or hears voices and is religious, they will often believe something along the lines of "god is punishing them, god is speaking to them, or they are possessed by the devil. They may rsort to prayer and such to help them get better or to communicate more with god. Does this really work? Who knows. Because I don't think that there is any actual proof that god or the devil or whatever it be, actually exists. There is only belief and faith and what not.

I am not religious and I don't believe that I am possessed by demons, even though I don't completly dismiss that possibility. I often feel like I am possessed, but who is to say it is surely the devil? It could be any number of things.

Although we dont know for sure the devil exists, we do know for sure that jesus of nazareth existed and that he done many magical things, curing the sick, giving sight to the blind and even raising people from the dead we know that he was crucified and after 3 days the tomb was found empty this is wrote in both the jewish and roman history not just the bible.

All it comes down to when you read about jesus of nazareth in the gospels, when you know for sure he existed, you have to come to one of the following conculsions.

1. He was a mad man and someone stole his body under the noses of roman guards (who were unlikly to be asleep on duty - consiqunece is death)

or

2. That he was and is the son of god who he claimed to be and rose from the dead.

Well, I believe there is sufficiant evidence to suggest that he was the son of god not leastly the signs that he done and are documented in all three texts regarding him, jewish history, roman history and the 4 gospels. But also, the many healings that still occur today at shrines around the globe, fatima, lourds being 2 of the most well known.

If we can trust history, we can know where to look for more indepth info on jesus and when we do, we know that jesus healed people who were possesed by demons.

"then jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and from that moment the boy was healed."

"he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and drove out many demons."

"those tormented by unclean spirits were made well"

"with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!"

it is also reported in the records of the jewish temple

"the pharisees however, said, "he drives out demons by the ruler of the demons!"

so I think schizophrenia and many other mental disorders could easily be the attacks of unclean spirits although certain mind numbing drugs may help with the paranoia and the decrease the awareness of the voices, they dont actually cure they only alievate the problem.

I believe by turning to jesus christ and recieving the sacraments instituted by christ, through the catholic church that he created 2000 years ago is the one way of begin healed.

Perhaps a trip to loureds or fatima may also cure a believer in the one ture faith.
