Hi, i've been having weird symptoms for the past two months: tingling/numbness that comes and goes and accute pains, but mostly only on the left side of my body. It started with my leg hurting randomly, then I started feeling a tingling on the left half of my lips, then tingling sensations all down my arm and leg, and also pressure behind my left eye. Along with these symptoms comes

i've been to a doctor, a neurologist, and a cartiologist, had mris of my brain and spine, and every test has come back negative.

I've read that diabetes can cause nerve damage which could explain the pains/tingling, but only on the left side of my body?

Dear dibetic, I have no answer but wanted to share what I experienced today. I've been type-1 diabetic for 43 years. Today for the first time I experienced pain in my right leg especially when coming down the stairs. I do not know whether this is diabetes related or just some temporary non-diabetes related thing but it worried me enough to join this forum and I read your comments. .. :( hope you feel better soon. Take care ...

Tia
It sounds like you are having neuropathy issues. Have you been checked for a possible tia (transient ischemic attack) which is a "warning stroke" or "mini-stroke" that produces stroke-like symptoms but no lasting damage.
