Burning sensation on my back around my bra line Posted: 08-04-03 21:35pm


I have this burning feeling on my back on the left side right at my bra strap level but have no visible marks of redness or rash what do you think this could be?

Hi, My mom had this problem a few years ago and came to find out that her washing detergent was the culpurt. Sweat in the area combined with her washing powder and created the reaction. She changed to Dreft washing powder and resolved the problem in short order even after being told she had shingles. Best of luck and have a swell day. John

I used to work for a chiropractor. It could also be a ruptured disc right there. You may want to go in and have it looked at. The metal on a back straping bra for some reasons sets the spin out of allignment at that location. Look into it.

Do you work in front of a computer for many hours a day?? Maybe this is your trouble?? My wife has some of the same symptems you are discribing, this is her problem. She works her whole day infront of her key board. Just a thought.....

I am having the same problem. My burning sensation is accross my shoulder blades and feels deep. I have had an ache in the center of my back that would come and go. The sensation is constant and im not getting much relief from otc pain releivers.

Check out symptoms for notalgia paresthetica on the internet. Maybe this is your problem. My sister has similar symptoms.

I too am having the same burning pain and I just don't know what to do to stop it. Any suggestions?
