Lupus
Aches,
the severity of the lupus determines. My grandmother has had it for 53 years. She is fine other than ra. My case is much worse since I have allot of organ damage. Kind of funny my doctor told me I would not die becouse of this (what a liar). If you take care of yourself and do as the doctor says you could be 87 like my grama.
Hope all is well,
mary

Aches:

as so much of the disease is still unknown, so is the life span of one with lupus. If you have mild involvement, you can most likely live a fairly normal life.

Anytime that you add more or different organ involvement (kidneys, liver, heart, cns), there is just no way to know. You can be fine one day and critical the next (as some of us have experienced).

I hope this finds you well,

Aches,
what is anyones's life span? Live life to the fullest everyday. It doesn't make a difference if you have lupus or your healthy. When it's time to die you will, just like anyone else. I try to live life so that when I have to look back on it I can say it was a non-perfect good life. I lived it to the fullest, and I made a positive impact on my little corner of it! Live, love, learn, be happy for simple things, and continue to hope! Daisy
