Could I Be Infertile?
Posted: 09-04-05 03:42am

I was just thinking about this...... Someone help me here..... It might sound silly but I would really love to know.

I have been trying to conceive for about 5 months, last year before I conceived. Then after 5/6 weeks of pregnancy, I had a miscarriage. Since that miscarriage, I have been trying for a baby now for 9 months. Till now no success.

I am having irregular periods like 40-45 days on an average cycle.
I am obese with a pear shape figure.
I am 27 years old this yr.
I have been having sex with my husband even b4 marriage for about 7 years. But he never spit sperm inside. After my wedding 2 years ago, he started trying for a baby.

Suddenly, after reading some of the posts here in,

1) getting pregnant
2) pregnancy
3) infertility
4) other preg related forums,

i am getting this idea, could I be infertile?
Can an infertile person get pregnant and miscarry and not have a child?

I feel very confused and emotionally down. But I would like to know. Has anyone gone thru this situation or heard of???

After my miscarriage, I asked the doc about my condition, he said they do not test for problems with fertility unless u miscarry for 3 times.

It sounds funny, but thats how it is..... Pls reply....

Waiting hopefully...... And sadly........

Hey don't worry!! I think the infertile question passes around every single womens head at some point, expecially those who are in your situation.
My sister in law (30) had been trying for 3 years for a baby, she was desperate, both her and her husband (34) had tests to see if there were problems etc, but there were none, bout 6 months ago finally she became pregnant ( they had been moving and doing up their new house so they weren't thinking bout conceiving that month) but at bout 8.5 weeks she lost what the doc thought were twins!, but the docs reassured her that at least now she can relax knowing that she can get pregnant, he said that the failed pregnancy was a way of jump starting the whole body into baby phase if u understand what I mean, and that she should have realied now that if u try to much it will never happen, but as soon as u take your mind of it, concentrating on other things, it'll happen.

I can understand it being hard people telling u to not think about it all the time, but if theres really nothing physically wrong with u then its just a matter of time!!.
From what it sounds like, ur past has been normal, nothing risky, so I can only tell u to relax, try a new hobby etc to concentrate on etc

hope i've helped
xxxxxx good luck xxxxxxxxxxx

My Amazing Story
Posted: 09-06-05 12:13pm

This is a story of my life, or more appropriatly on how I can to be. My mom had endo and my dad had "lazy sperm" they tried for a few years and decided that god didn't want them to be parents and they took a different path. 20 years later... My dad had a new job opportunity and didn't know which way to go, stay where he was or change. He prayed that god would give him a sign, if he was to change positions then my mother wouldn't have a baby, but if he was supposed to stay on course my mom would get pregnant, and she did!! She was 40 years old and I know that seems like a long time to wait but it's better than nothing right?
