I had one round and am supposed to also take antibiotics - amoxycillian again. I haven't had much relief yet after 5 days. Is this a cumulative effect or should I just opt for surgery and save myself some grief! Ps my is non-allergic rhinitis, no cause identified, I believe I had initial infection which went low grade (for the last yr!!) since I didn't treat it and was run down, only traces in left sinuses now, slightly narrowed left nasal passage, slightly deviated septum. I have headaches, exhaustian, nausia, can't blow nose - goes back up into head/down throat. I know it may work for those will allergies as it inhibits the stimulus but maybe not me. Anyhow I am miserable, it took me so long to find the cause of all this, and want to move, my boyfriend moved away 2 mos ago and I have had to remain until I feel better due to insurance. I am almost too tired to work somewhere new and I suspect it would be a preexisting where i'd have to wait. I am tired of my job and have no friends here. I don't know if I have the patience. It's only been 5 days, I don't know if I can ask the dr for surgery? I'm afraid he'd feel like I didn't give it a chance. Maybe it will work over time? It's just so hard to get appts and have them listen to you too!!! I feel like i'm going crazy.
