Hi everyone,
i have a question, I have been on a bp fest for the past few weeks, trying to get myself back on track, the question is I am so bloated, especally around the abdomal area ,more than previous times(and I have been struggling with this for a long time) has any one heard of this, I am exercising quite abit also.
Oh I did get into taking laxitive as well and it messed me up for days, that probably contributes????
Also I was on a low card diet thats what started the cycle again and I am trying to eat carbs again.
Ed really is a bugger!!!!
Thanks love mexxxxx

Hi lisabeth,

i don't know what 'bp fest"stands for, but as for your question about being bloated after taking laxatives...I know that happens to me too, my bowels gets really big and filled with gas and I look 4 months pregnant. Taking laxatives to get in shape is not a good idea, it will give you this bloated feeling and perhaps diarrea, plus it doesn't make you loose a lot of weight, just temporary fluids. I don't suggest taking laxatives, but I know it is hard not too. I still use them occasionally, can't help myself.
Good luck,
nicole

Bloating is one of the many side effects of ed's. When I used to b/p, I was so bloated. For some people, it does go away with looking after your health, for others - the intensity lessens. It's all very individual. I find that taking evening primrose oil capsules has helped with the bloating (not just pms bloating either). I suffered so much with a bad stomach up until a few months ago, when I eventually gave in and tried the capsules. I have a very weak bladder, on account of the whole ed  . One of my regrets has to do with my physical health. The capsules have worked a treat for me :).

Yes, it is a common side affect from ed, as is ibs. The reason is because after abusing your body, your body finds it difficult to adjust. For me, if I didn't know better - there are days it feels similar to when I took lax in the past (which I haven't in nearly 3 years). It does get embarrassing at times, but at least, I know that I am well on the road to recovery, and even full recovery doesn't seem so far off anymore.

Not sure if i've answered your question.
