Of course its not easy. Its not even easy to most parents who aren't teenagers. Alot of moms do drop out of school to raise their babies which of course I do not reccomend.. I'm staying in school. In my town I have a student mom's program. We do our schooling and very near our school is a daycare for our babies. Its not as strict as regular school so that if our babies need us or are sick we can miss the needed days and not fall far behind. I haven't had my baby yet but I am going to the school and its really great because if I feel sick in the morning (which I sometimes do) then I do not have to go in if I really do not want to and they are alot more undertanding about it.

first off, it isn't easy for anyone to raise a baby. And being a teenager just makes it all the more difficult. Although some of the teen mothers that I have seen and talked to seem like better parents than those who are in their twenties and thirties. Some teens just stop going to school altogether, some take some time off and go back later, and some have someone take care of the baby while they are at school. As for what the people who live around you and what they would say, depends on who they are. Some people are extremely happy and proud of you for having a baby and for being a teen mother and sticking to the responsibilities. But there are always a few who love to put you down, make fun of you, harrass you. Ya know the really nasty people. Hope that answers your questions. Much love melissa
