I used to wear a size 34 pants, ive always been a big guy but nothing that ever caused me to lose my self-esteem.

Well it's been nearly 2 years since my last date, I decided to stop till I got my life on track and thankfully for me, it has begun. I have a date in 2 months to a concert that is coming to town....

I now wear a size 38, what would be the fastest way to get back into my size 34 pants in 2 months?

What exercises, equipment, or "drinks" do I need to buy to reach this goal.

All your help is greatly appriciated.

Your best bet in the exercise department is a good cardio routine.
Atleast fortyfive minutes a day, everyother day. On the in between days do about 30 minutes to maintain what you had from the day before. On the cardio you'll want to vary your pace/incline/resistance/whatever your cardio workout requires. That way it focuses your body on losing fat rather than just improving cardiovascular strength. As for diet, try fitting into a fairly low carb diet, but with lots of protein, and make sure you get enough of everything else, either with full meals, or with vitamins. My drink of choice for my workouts is gatorade. Good luck losing a few inches.

I would agree that low carb, high protein diet may be the way to go. I had a friend that got married a couple years ago. About 8 months before his wedding, he got on a version of the atkins diet, a diet I honestly don't know all that much about. But, he lost significant weight. I will say, he has since put it back on. But it helped him in the short term. Just a thought.
