I have done some research on the topic on colloidal silver on the internet. It seems to me that the only side effect of taking colloidal silver is argyria. Besides colloidal silver is stated to be the cure for most viruses and becteria. Since there are very few anti viral drugs, why is colloidal silver not used to treat such illnesses? It may be used as a silver bullet to treat the increasing number of becteria that are getting resistant to the strongest of antibiotics such as vancomycin. However I would like to know why it is still not widely used?
