Is it really important to eat breakfast when tring to lose weight. Im rarely hungry in the morning.

If I eat breakfast I tend to get hungry by 10 o clock, if I don't have breakfast I can go while dinner time.

Yes, breakfast is very important while dieting. Studies show that people who skip breakfast actually gain weight than those who eat breakfast.

Not only that, often eating in the morning will help you to concentrate better. The reason you dont feel hungry until dinner when you dont eat is probably because your body got used to absorning all the calories at dinner-time. This is also what contributes to wieght gain.

Try eating a low-fat, low-calorie, high protein breakfast and have a small healthy snack when you feel hungry at 10.

Hope this helps, take care.

It is so important because it kick starts your metabolism. Without breakfast you dont really start to burn calories until you first eat. And it is totally true if you eat in the morning youll lose weight much faster and have more energy.

Kinda late coming in on this, but I eat 2-3 peices of turkey sausage in the morning with either oatmeal or cereal and a bananna. I am hungry by about 10 too. I eat two peices of whole wheat toast with a little bit of peanut butter on it. A better snack would actually be a 10-15 almonds.
