Don't Get Too Stressed
I know that for years patients who have received transplants (usually a kidney) have taken imuran without any apparent bad effects on pregnancy or the baby. I know about the imuran because my rhuemy put me on it last week and explained the issues involved to me. She also made the point about pregnancy due to my age. I personally can not have another child due to the danger it poses to my own, as well as the child's, health.

I am unsure about the rest. I know a lot of doctors give pregnant women antidepressants even though the side effects for the baby are unknown or poorly documented. To tell the truth most if not all drugs are poorly tested in human pregnancy due to the immorality of exposing an unborn child to these potentially harmful chemicals. You should definately see a rhuemy to find out what you can safely take to manage your disease while pregnant. After all a healthy mom is just as important as a healthy baby.
