Q: Extremely Long Periods And Weakness From Head to Toe

I have had my period for a month now, and some days it's barely there, and others it's like whoa...Sometimes it's dark brown, and others it's bright pink, but never in the middle. The past two weeks i've been really tired, sore from head to toe, and I feel like i'm going to faint all the time. I can't stand up without holding on to something, and forget about stairs. Does anyone else have this problem or might know what it is? Please help me!

If its been occuring for more than a month you should go and see your doctor asap. The amount of blood you are losing is making you weak. The doctor will probably give you an iron supplement, because you might be slightly anemic. They'll also give you something to stop the bleeding, or put you on a birthcontrol pill to regulate your period, or change the one you may be on.

Sounds like you're becoming anemic by all of the blood loss. You need to see your doc asap!

I am also looking into internet for advice on this. My case has been very strange for the last 4 months. Im getting 3 week periods extremly strong for what im used to and very painful.
I have general body weakness and also constant headheaches. Ive already gone to doctors and to the hospital in an emergency situation to ask what was going on. No one until now has been able to explain it to me....and yes, I have been taking anticonceptives the last 7 years. I finally changed the anticonceptive last month to see if that could help my situation, but no, its made it even worse.
I ask here to see if anyone can give me advice on this matter please...
