Q: Inflamed Appendix

I went to the er for food poision.They did a cat scan and said I had an inflamed appendix.Shortly after second oppinion,they let me leave.Its been about 2 weeks and accasoinally,i get a pain in my whole stomach,but not that bad.What should I do.Will I know if there is something serious wrong?

What did they say was wrong in the second opinion? I just got out of the hospital after having my appendix taken out. I was in a lot of pain, so you may not have the same problem as I did. Still, though, keep a close eye on your condition and do not hesitate to go back in to the doctor. Don't worry about the money. This is serious business if you do in fact have an inflamed appendix. If it ruptures, then it can cause all sorts of problems.
