Jalousie Need Advice?
Posted: 08-27-05 16:01pm

Hi ,
does anyone else get's jalous...?

I am 39 and live in the uk/london,married with children, and I love my wife and family to bits.

Only thing is I get very jalousie at times !!
Me and my wife both goes on the internet she likes the chat rooms and messages boards,me I like the message boards,

this is where the jalousie kicks in its when she is in the chat rooms talking to men and women ,its when she talks to the men and they start to flirt with her "saying that not all the men does" but some do they even private message her or they try to invite her to a private chat room...You can imagine why they want to do that!!!.

Well this is when my jalousie really kicks in is when they do that...I know its not her fault and she does ignore them when they try.....But I still get that horrible feeling of being jalous.............

I have said to her not to stop going into chat rooms "its not her or her problem that I feel like this "...But when she does it still hurts.

How can I stop feeling like this ?
Does anyone else feels like this?

Haha I used to get so jealous when my fiancee went dancing with her girlfriends. Same idea. I still worry and I know that people try and pick her up when im not with her but I know that she wouldnt do anything not just for me, but for her as well. Of course I wont tell her not to go, but deep down I dont want her to. You just need to trust that she loves you and wouldnt do anything to hurt you.

I understand about trusting her and I know she loves me but it still dont stop me from feeling like this.....It hurts when ppl "men" think they can try and chat her up even when they know she is married,
its like taking the p**s....I know it sounds stupid

Id just be happy your not a 40 year old single loser trying to chat up married gals in a chatroom. At the end of the day she is still your wife and goes to bed with you. Pity all of the other guys that are trying to talk her up. Easy to say, yes.. But aside from her stopping theres not alot one can do. Talk to her about it, if you ask her to stop she may think you're being controlling, as queer as it sounds tell her how its affecting you. put her in your shoes

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I know a guy that met a girl on the internet and left his wife to go live with her in detroit. He was back in 2 weeks begging his wife back. The thing with internet "affairs" are it's all based on nothing that has to do with living with someone so it's all stupid really. Not that your wife is doing that but most of the people that probably come on to her have a fake picture while living in their parents' basement and have no real interest in meeting her in person. Besides, if your wife were like that, you wouldn't be together right now. Let her have her space as you like your's. You can't really get on her for anything if you do the same thing even if it is just posting. She doesn't really know what you do online so it's a 2 way street. Just trust her........She deserves that.......The same way you do.
