If anyone knows anything let me know i'm freakin out and I don't think my doctor is very good. This is my story. In aug I got a lump inside my bum the first Dr. I saw told me it was just a really big hemoroid, which I believed because i've had hemroids for a long time since my second pregnancy 9 years ago. I had bleeding and puss which was what caused me to go to the Dr. So the tretment didn't work I still had the pain the puss and the blood now I had an unusual numbness in my leg ig back to the Dr. Different Dr. Tells me I have an abcess on the end of my anus I need it drained.Sends me for emergency surgery . Surgeon says 6 to 10 weeks it will be gone guess what it's not still have the lump still have the pain the puss and blood I am 29 colon cancer runs in my family but the Dr. Said I didn't have polypsand the only test they did were blood tests that never showed anything wrong I don't know what to think ? And I really don't want to go back to the Dr. So he can drain my absecc again just for it to come right back anyways.

the Whole "shabang"
Maybe you should go under general anestetia and have it surgecially removes. I have an abcess right on my tailbone and am going into surgery on monday to have it totally removed. The chance of its reoccurance is very high without the surgery. Lancing (draining) doesnt remove the entire cell!! I hope that this info. Helps!! Go to a new doctor and suggest the surgery. It would most likely be a same day surgery!! Update me on what happens!!!
