Q: Ovulation While On B/c

I should probably already know the answer to this since i've been on birth control most of my life, but can anyone tell me whether one ovulates while on birth control or not? When does this happen??

My understanding was that the pill is used to keep you from ovulating. So, no, you don't. I suppose you can should you miss pills around the time you would normally ovulate, but I think it's fairly rare if you take your pills as directed.
