Would a supplemental health insurance
company policy at a time of unemployment,
constitute having continuous coverage?

If you are asking in the context of hipaa
the answer is no.

But, a short term medical policy would

Stm is not a supp plan. The question

And yes, an stm plan does qualify under
hipaa rules for continuous coverage, as
does cobra & cobra conversion
policies.

I didn't post to create an arguement; I
posted to propose a solution.
Thank you for the clarification.
