Would a supplemental health insurance company policy at a time of unemployment, constitute having continuous coverage? Confused

If you are asking in the context of hipaa the answer is no.

But, a short term medical policy would constitute continuous coverage.

Stm is not a supp plan. The question posed specifically mentioned supplemental health.

And yes, an stm plan does qualify under hipaa rules for continuous coverage, as does cobra & cobra conversion policies.
