Hi there
i started taking 10mg of lexapro about two weeks ago for depression/anxiety

the first few days that I took i, I would feel nauseated throughout the day. The doc told me to skip the next day and take it the day after that. I did, and the nausea went away. In just two weeks, it had an excellent effect on the depression and anxiety. I felt great. Howver, it totally killed my sex drive. I am a 20 year old college student who's sex drive was always pretty low because of depression and anxiety, but once I took this medicine, it killed it totally. I can hardly get an erection, sex images aren't exciting me. I should say that it does excite me, my mind and my body but my penis just isn't having it at all. This is extremely frustrating. I called the doctor and he told me to stop taking the pills and the impotence side effect happens 60% of the time with that medicine. I haven't taken the medicine in three days and I feel depressed again and my sex drive still hasnt returned to normal.

Are there any medicines for depression that will increase the sex drive?

I Had the Same Experience
I was taking lexapro 20mg earlier in the year and for the first few months it totally killed my sex drive! I couldnt even achieve an orgasm by masturbating! I am a female and it made my clitoris totally numb....Bizarre! Eventually once my body got used to it I got more sensation back.
