It is true that if you have sex like within your 6 weeks after your delievery that you are more likely to get pregnant?

Hmm.

I've never heard of that one before. I think you're body needs time to adjust back to its normal figure. My doctor told me that it could take up to 3 months before I started my period again.

Yes you can get pregnant any time after the birth of a baby ( ok so not in the first few weeks ewww..... Your not even thinking of sex at that point) but once you have finished bleeding you can get pregnant again...... This is highly discouraged!!!! And if you do become pregnant so soon after having a baby ( with in the first 3-6 months) you are at greater risk of losing the pregnancy because your cervix and pelvic floor are weakened..... Pregnancy and birth have nothing to do with your belly button..... And a womans vagina is designed to accomidate a baby..... A woman does not become "loose" from giving birth.... I have had 3 babies and my vagina is fine....... I have full feeling down there and I only had my baby 9 weeks ago.....

Like the girl said above, I doubt you'll be thinking about sex lol!

I remember after my sister gave birth. Her whole body was sore and she cried almost when she had to get up. It was insane.

Ok now heres another question I want to know.

How long after delivery can you start having sex again, cause I am just sexually frustrated lol, its been about 2 weeks already since my last nookie, and my boyfriend and I are getting extremely impatient?

I think when you're comfortable down there, then you'll know when it's safe.

My sister was really really sore after labor, and they had to cut her down there so the baby could fit, and she said when she went pee it burned really bad for a couple of weeks, and they give you medicine that sorta numbs it.

You bleed for a really long time after giving birth aswell.

Ask your doctor about it!

You can have sex after the delivery as soon as you feel comfortable about it..... You will normally bleed for between 4 and 6 weeks and if you have had stiches you may feel uncomfortable down there for a while, but it should not be painful....... Use plenty of lube........ If you have a c section it is recommended you dont have sex for 6 weeks..... Hope that helps

Actually you're supposed to be on "pelvic rest" for six weeks after both a vaginal birth and c-section.

You can get pregnant again any time after delivery - not just when the bleeding stops. You can start to ovulate at any time and won't know it because you're not back on a regular menstrual cycle. I've seen many girls get pregnant again just two and three months after giving birth b/c they thought it was "safe". Same with while breastfeeding - it is possible to ovulate while breastfeeding and get pregnant again. Please be careful and use protection when you're ready to start having sex again!!

Not If Your Nursing
Hey its $horty........Yea you can get prg anytime after baby is born...Except when you are nursing!!! So if your nursing you straight, but as soon as you stop nursing and your boobs dry up.....Be extra careful because I heard that your body produces a hormone that makes u really horney cuz you r nolonger preg and your body wants another baby!!!!!Lol

Nursing isn't birth control; there is still a chance you could get pregnant.

You said you couldnt get pregnant while nursing. Nursing isnt a form of birth control, therefor you can get pregnant.

I think you need to get your facts straight before you give girls advice, to be honest. You'll just confuse them.

And why do you type like that? It's annoying.

Haters In An Advice Forum? Wow! Were's the Respect? Right?
For dalicialynn:
listen, I think that if u were that worried about these girls' wellbeing...You would be more concerned about giving more advise instead, of cutting people down, critisizing, and looking for someone to correct. You have no room to talk because I didn't purposly confuse anyone. Yet, youre purposely being rude! And, like I said..... Nobody said it was a form of birth control.....

What I also said was you can get preg anytime after you deliver.... But not when youre nursing.... Meaning you can't get preg just anytime while nursing. No, nursing isn't a form of birth control... And yes, its possible to get preg while nursing, and that is mostly during the first two weeks after you deliver because the reg. Milk hormone isnt being produced yet. Again...Yes, it happens to some gurls, but rarely. I give these girls advise form the knowledge that I have, and from what other people have told me....If im wrong, im wrong. But dont be f*in rude.

Nobody in here is perfect....Everyone has questions, everybody has answers....But nobody is always right, and most of us are in here to help not to try to hurt peoples feelings. I dont no if u were having a bad day/ week, but if not...It looks like u need to make some changes w/in your self....Cuz even tho no one was out to get u ....You're out to get other people. That aint right especially in a place like this. Now I would be perfectly happy to clown you on a more personal level... But im more respectful to keep it out the forums! So if u got problems, holla at me in my personal messeges and i'll tear u up. I feel so childish saying that, but u done pis*ed me off!!! If your gonna be hatin, find a chat room!!!!!

Now listen to me...If my typing really annoys you that much you would be too annoyed to even read it.... Right? .... So don't!!!!!!!!!

I didn't even read all of your post because it's worthless.

Look what you posted above, you said you couldnt get pregnant while nursing, that's doing it retarded. You can get pregnant while nursing, nursing doesnt stop you from getting pregnant whatsoever.

You need to get more educated on your typing and about your pregnancy.

My best opinion would be that your pelvic muscles are probably to weak and need to be rested.
