Q: What Does Elevated Liver Function Do to a Body?

For almost a year I have had some nagging symptoms that ebb and tied, on at least two occasions after having blood work I have been told I have mildly elevated liver functions. I would like to know what this is doing to my body and symptoms I should be aware of that might indicate this is becoming worse. I have never smoked, and I do not drink alcohol.
