Anyone Know About Loew White Blood Cell Count Posted: 11-25-03 21:03pm
I just had a blood test done not too long
ago and my doctor told me I have a low
white blood cell count...He told me they
are looking into it and they will get back
to me with what they find out... Does
anyone know what this could mean? What
type of diseases could I have possibly
that is involved in a low white blood cell
count?? Any information would be great
thanks

To: jenmarie,
i had just had my blood test taken and my
doctor said it was a little low and that I
should come back in a month to take
another blood test.
She said it could be viral. She gave me
my count and compared it with one I had
taken 3 years ago.
Did your doctor give you your count. My
was 3,400. My doctor said it should be
4,000 to 10,000.
What brought me to the doctor was that I
was so fagtuie that I fell asleep behind
the wheel for seconds and that had never
happen to me before.
I researched the internent and there can
be so many things that cause a low blood
cell count.
I am going to wait for my doctor to come
up with the answer instead of trying to
investigate on my own.
Hopefully your doctor will also have an
answer for you. It takes time.
Be patience and try not to speculate.
