For the past two years, i've been attempting to find a bc that won't result in breakthrough bleeding. I tried the patch, an iud and i'm now on yasmin. Yasmin is okay except in addition to my regular period, I have breakthrough bleeding at least once a month. My period also lasts 7 days. I'm recently divorced and this is killing my sex life. I saw my doctor at the beginning of the month and he suggesting taking yasmin for 4 months, skipping 3 days, then 4 more months etc. It was okay for the first week, but since then i've had almost constant spotting. Has anyone ever experienced this and have any suggestions? It's driving me crazy. I can't enjoy sex because i'm always thinking that maybe i'll start spotting. Thank you. I'm desperate.
