Question Related to Panic Attacks Posted: 08-22-05 04:44am
:?
I know that it is no good to think about
what if's when dealing with panic attacks,
but here is a question I have wondered
about and would like to hear what you
might think about it.
Ok. You are having panic attacks ranging
from mild, bad, awful, extreme, and pure
hell. You have already been to the
doctor and have had your heart checked
out. Everything has come back fine and
stress/anxiety are determined to be the
root of your problem.
My question is this, since so many
symptoms mimic having a heart attack, when
you are having a panic attack, how can you
really know that this one time it could
not be a totally random heart attack? Are
there some symptoms that are strictly for
heart attacks and not panic attacks? Ok,
well, as goofy as that might sound, I
would be interested to hear your
responses. Jen

As far as I am aware, a lot of heart
attacks present with the main symptom of
pain coursing down the inside of the left
arm and side of neck and chest , I do not
think that this is a symptom of panic
attacks, which I have suffered in the past
I think you should listen to your own body
and get to know what symptoms you present
with each time you have a panic attack,
try to identify what is your stress
trigger. Remember that you cannot change
other peoples actions but you can change
your reactions ...Hope it helps.Dexi

Anxiety attack. Ususally your heart wont
hurt real bad. It starts to speed up and
you sweat real bad. Heart attack your arm
starts to get real tingly and then it
hurts reeeeally bad. And you ususally
collaps to the floor and its hard to talk.
You would know if you were having a heart
attack.
