Q: GETTING LIGHT HEADED
asked by: JOE on August 4th, 2003

I have been experiencing some weird symptoms, it starts with a pressure building up in the back of my head followed by pressure in my eyes, i then get somewhat dizzy like i might pass out, this usualy happens under streesfull conditions, my doctor told me that this could be a ulcer, my stomach does'nt hurt prior, if i remove myself from any stress it seems to subside.

Any ideas as to what these symptoms are i would appreciate the feed back.

Thanks joe

My suggestion may be too simple, but do you get enough water?

I hear that drinking more water can supress stress/anxiety episodes from effecting your physical health.

Sounds like migraines. Maybe even anxiety.

Hello joe,

i have the same symptoms also.
My doctor put me on high blood pressure medicine.
I still have the pressure in the back of my head with dizziness.
Any luck solving your problem?

Hi joe, you might want to talk to a neurologist and maybe they can do an mri, because it sounds like you could be having a petit seizure.....Check it out, if i'm right let me know....There is medication for this..............Take care, susan

Lighted Headedness/dizziness
Every night when I lay down I get so dizzy that sometimes I feel as though I will fall out of bed. I went to the doctors and they told me it is just from sinus troubles and the pressure I feel is no more then fluid build up behind my ear drums. Anyone got any other ideas??? I have been this way for about a year now.
