Well this is my first post on the forums and after searching for awhile I realize that wow, do men have it easy! :-p we have to worry about all of these issues but of course there are the men out there that are supportive and caring, so I guess it evens out somewhat.

I know there are several posts on here and hopefully someone can give me some insight, or hope even...

I am a 22 year old woman who is overall pretty healthy. I have never had any serious medical problems and my blood pressure is low. I work out several times a week. I am sexually (monogmasly) active but use birth controli have recently been showing symptoms of polycystic ovarian syndrome. I am getting blood work done in a few days but am currently very concerned with my situation. I have been on yasmin birth control for about 2 1/2 years and stopped taking it in april. (before going on the pill my periods were not regular) after stopping the pill I did not have my period in may, june or july but there is little chance that I would get pregnant since I used a condom when I did have sex and would have my boyfriend not reach climax during intercourse. I just started yasmin again the last week of july. I did not miss any pills but did not take them at the exact same minute everyday (usually within the same hour). I had sex on the 8th day of the pack of pills without a condom (again, I asked him to refrain from climaxing during intercourse). I am now on the fourth day of the sugar pills and I have not gotten my period :(

i have had sore breasts, dizziness and trouble sleeping. Upon starting the pill I began to have frequent urination (side effect of direutic in yasmin but also connected with pregnancy). I know these are some signs of pregnancy but are they also associated with starting the pill? I don't remember reacting this way before when starting but I could have forgotten since I wasn't sexually active then and wouldn't have made such a big deal out of it.

I did not know what day to start my pills since I wasn't having a period. I know that with absence of your cycle you can still ovulate.

I am so very nervous and haven't many I can talk to about this issue. If anyone out there can give me any insight on pcos, birth control (yasmin and it's effects) or pregnancy signs/symptoms/interactions with bc that would be great.

Furthermore, I know I should take a preg. Test, but I do need moral support. My friends think i'm overreacting but this is scary stuff....

Thank you so much for reading!!!!
