I am just interested in finding out whether anyone is taking or has taken st. John's wart and tri-cyclen at the same time or any other bcp with st. John's wart for that matter. I am interested in finding other whether it decreases the effectiveness of the bcp's or not as that can be a contraindication of the two drugs together. I am interested in taking the st. John's wart but not if it is going to decrease the effectiveness of my bcp. Help please :) thanks!

Yes your not suposed to take st. Johns wart, it was on the news, its does lower the effectiveness of the bcp. Also be careful b/c its in alot of diet pills. So be sure to look in the ingredients of all health supplements you take if your trying to stay baby free.
