Hello,

i am new to this forum but I really need to find some answers about my headaches. I have always suffered from tension headaches but lately my anxiety has been out of control. I have had a lot of pressure in my head and sharp pains 2 or 3 times a day. My Dr. Did an exam and said she didn't believe it was anything more than stress. But of course these symptoms are making my anxiety worse worrying there is something seriously wrong. Has anyone suffered the same?? Any comments welcome.

Many thanks.

Dont feel too bad, you are not the only one. I have been going through the same thing lately. I never even had tension headaches till this summer. Lets just say I have had a very very very stressful summer. I went to the er the first time I had one because it was so different from any other headache I had ever had. They did a cat scan to be sure it was just a tension headache and it was, at least my cat scan was normal. My pain goes all the way down into my neck. My neck throbs when the headaches come. Does yours? I know what you mean about the tension headaches making the stress worse. When I get them I always think scary thoughts about what it may really be. I have been doing a little better here lately but for a while I had them like everyday sometimes all day long. I usually take tylenol for them but my doc gave me some muscle relaxers that helps when they are really bad. I think my welbutrin helps with them also. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in these awful things. I hope that helps at least a little.

To all the women out there with headache pressure and pain, try anal sex. It really does work. And of course it doesn't count as sex so it's okay, just like sex on a boat or in a another country.... Rock & roll ladies.
