Due to my brother's birthday, I ate extra portion of food and my morning fast blood sugar level climbed up to 174. I drank a big cup of bitter melon tea, waited for one hour and tested. My number dropped to 141. Is that amazing?

I sat up a website (http://mission.Comparenews.Org) and collected some articles and scientific reports about that magic 'fresh' vegetable for background information for those diabetic experts and scientifists. I urge them to systemically explore that uncharted territory of 'dehydrated' bitter melon.

In my case, used to take glucophage 850 mg twice a day, I need to drink 1/3 of a 2.2 oz package ($3 plus s&h) and it costs me a little over one day per day. If you are type ii diabetics, you should give your health a chance to experiment it yourself. Use your common sense and adjust the portion accordingly.

Good luck,
