Hi,

two weeks ago I hit my head - the left side, above my ear towards the top of my head. Now I have this little pimple like bump and it aches (it hasn't hurt since I bumped it) then all of a sudden I get these jolting pains (like stabs) down my head, sort of through my throat and down my neck on the left side. These symptoms only started last night but I must say that I had only slept two hours the night before, so last night I was totally exhausted, and although I slept 8 hours last night I am still pretty beat. These sudden jolts of pain and this constant ache on my head is weird and I am concerned. My mother had singles last year - she thought she had an ear ache and was developing adult acney. Could I be getting the shingles?
