I had unprotected sex with by boyfriend at the time in january 3. I found out in february that he gave me chlamydia. We had sex again in march 21-27 this time it was suppose to be protected but some how when we change positions I notice the condom was off, he said he not see when it happen, at the time I believe him cause it was a bit loose, there was no coming inside cause we had got a new condom. Afterwards I did not believe him, we are broken up now. I got a hiv test done at the end of march and at the end of april they both came back negative, so would that mean he did have hiv in january, it was only for months, was say 3 other say 4 or 6 months. I want to get the test done again in a couple of days from now, I was wondering if it is too early, I really don’t like going to get those test done, they really make you got through a lot and all the questions makes me uncomfortable. I did ask him to get tested too and he says it came back negative, but I don’t believe him. I have been so scared and worried and I don’t know what to do with myself. Any advice anyone.

It takes rougly 13 weeks for the antibodies of the hiv virus to come out. That is what they are testing for. It's been well over 13 weeks now so you should be getting tested.

But you had sex with him at the end of march, and you were only tested at the end of april.. You need to get another test.

Conclusive!
Having an hiv test today would be considered conclusive since the last encounter with possible risk was in march.

Things look good for you that you'll have the same result. Go pick them up and enjoy your life!
