I am 21 and I go to the bathroom about
once a week. Today I tried and I couldn't
go. It is like there is a huge hard ball
of poop at the end and I can't get it out
cause it hurts too much. The only thing I
have changed since my last bowel movement
was protein shakes (4 a day with milk). I
don't eat that healthy/much but I do take
a multi vitamin every morning. Could the
protein shakes be the cause of this? What
could I eat to get this boulder out of me.

assuming this is constipation. I will do
more research and see what I need to
take/do.

Hi there! 1st thing you need to do is
read on the label of what the protein
shake might cause, please remember that I
am not a Dr. But their are a lot of good
stool softeners out there and you do not
have to buy the expensive brands, I buy
the equate brand which is walmart but you
can also check with the herb store too.
If you are having a lot of trouble smooth
moves tea works fast for most!

I don't know about protein shakes, but if
ou are going to the bathroom once a week
you are constipated. You need to look at
your diet.
I hope by now you have cleared your
impaction. Fleet aracis oil is usually
effective (more so than a glycerine
suppository).

Yeah look at the dietary fiber on the
foods! The higher they are the better.
You could start taking stool softners.
There was a forum about some colon cleaner
pill on here earlier today i'd look
through them and check that out!
Make yourself a cup of tea and put like a
teaspoon of vegetable oil mixed in with
it. That could help you out a tad bit.
