I had something that started off like that. Eventually it turned out to be a hernia which is pretty common.

I have the same exact thing right now, ive had it for about a year also.
It looks kinda like a pimple, but then you cant pop it, and if you finaly do then it wont all the way.
And if you kinda squeze it you feels hard little balls inside of the lump?
