Q: the Metallic Taste!!!

Hello,
has anyone experienced that terrible metallic taste in their mouth,and why is that if you know? I woke up friday morning and it tasted like I had been chewing on metal all night.I knew that I had not taken any meds and that I had not taken my iron because it has been low for a while...Please help if you know why this happens. :wink:

Metallic Taste

I do notice a metallic taste the last week or so. I am 5 weeks. And even more wierd when I eat or drink things with sugar substitue I taste metal, so I wont have any more of that. I have that kind of metal taste like when I am getting a cold or flu.

Why it happens I m not sure but some women do experience this medal taste in their mouth early into thier pregnancy. Don't worry its more a bother then it being something wrong. It will evenually subside

I got that taste when I was around 7 weeks and it went away around my 9th or 10th week.

I really wish I knew what it comes from cause it is so weird...But it did go away.It has been coming and going... :d

metal taste

could i be prego? i have these weird metal taste in my mouth all the time i haven't had a missed period but for two months now my periods have been very light and last 4 days when they usually last 5 and just this past week for 5 days straight i've been feeln' wet and when i wipe there's discharge but not alot please help
