Q: Partial Finger Amputation - Reconstruction Possible?

Hello!
I have a question about finger reconstruction possibility. I partially lost my index finger and my ring finger early in my childhood and i'm interested whether it is possible now to make a reconstructive surgery in an adult age? Of course, a donor would be required, etc. So, does anybody know any institution or whatsoever where/if that possibly could be done or similar? Any information is welcome. Thank you!

Chances of that are quite slim... An amputation is usually best reconstructed within 2 hours of amputation.. But also depending on the type of amputation, some amputations cannot be fixed.
