Okay, so I was on depo for a year (4 shots) and i've recently stopped taking the shot because of the ostioperosius(sp?) risk and the hormones reacting badly with my body. My last shot was mid-december. And I still haven't gotten my period yet. I know that it can take up to a year (or more) before I get it again, but that's usually more for long term users, right? I was only on it for a year.
I had irregular periods to begin with, but I don't know if that would be relevant.
My boyfriend has penetrated me without a condom on (only a few times, but I know anything matters) and I fear that I could be pregnant. Not only because i'm not getting my period, but also because the last few weeks, all of a sudden my body went way out of whack. I've got all the symptoms of innsomnia/narcolepsy and i've missed a couples nights completely of sleep. I've been having more migraines since off depo as well(i had none when on it). I've also been really sick feeling (worse than before with the hormones) and i've had a strange appatite. I've gone a couple days without eating (because i'm feeling too sick) or i'll feel like I can't eat, but i'll be craving something like noodles, then I eat it, it feels a but better, then five minutes later I feel worse again.
I've also had slight cramping, I know that can be a sign of pregnancy...
This is getting pretty long, but I had to explain that all...My main question is if the depo is still in my system (and that's why i'm not getting mny period) will it read as a false positive on a prenancy test? Because I don't want to take one, and it be a false positive and get all freaked out over nothing. It would put quite the damper on things. Thanks for any help you can give me :)

When I went off depo it took 6 months to get my af again but I have pcos so that could have been part of it too, I had to go on meds, but I was told it wears off fast so I would start using another form of bc asap, you probably havnt started your period because of the shot, try not to worry to much :) good luck
