Q: Check Out My Numerous Symptoms...

If any of these women who say they felt preg after hysterectmy are still viewing forums please let me know what happened.

I am 7 weeks pregnant, and my uterus was removed 19 years ago. God gave me a promise 18 years ago he spoke to me and said "a miracle baby". I have always believed I would carry this baby. A few years after removal of uterus, I went in to have ovaries removed and had a severe reaction to meds, which I never had be4 or never have had since, that prevented the removal of my ovaries.

I have heard of numerous accounts where baby is born by c/section from the abdomen. I even met pple in person who knew a lady nurse in bakersfield cal, who delivered baby boy after hysterectomy, they thought it was a tumor.

In june(exactly 18 years to the month that he spoke to me before) I was awakened with "a mirale baby" running thru my spirit again. In july me and husband almost broke up for good. On july 8 I started ovulating, (i know cuz I get middle pains), me and husband got back together on the 9th. Made love everyday and multiple times a day until the 19th of july.

On the 10th I awoke with a burning sensation in my abdomen, and felt like the semen had not came out of me from the night be4. Seems in the 16 to 18 times we made love the semen only came out 2 times. Within a couple of days I started noticing, sleepyness, hard sleeping, breast stabbing pains, tenderness in breasts, nausea, light-headedness, severe stabs in ovaries, continued cramp like feelings in ovaries, and in back right over where ovaries reside, leg cramps, swelling in privates, pains in privates, overal stomach pains, a glow in my face, I look younger(after all im 43 this year will be 44 in dec), terrible gas, a few times almost passed out, food taste funny, old tastes not the same, dont like salt lately, dont like really sweet lately, thirst that could kill someone, no new tastes but old tastes just not the same. Ppizza never sounds good, never tastes good, heavy foods dont go down well, lighter foods and vegetables are good. I also got horrible headache for first couple weeks. That was 5 weeks ago.

I know I am pregnant but I want to hear from these others or anyone who has experienced this or something like this(ectopic or heterotopic pregnancy), or even knows someone who has. Any info is welcome.

Thanks

I'm not going to be much help, but I was just curious if you have been to the doctor and know for sure that you are indeed pregnant.

My friend's mother had a hysterectomy and awhile later (not sure how long but I think it was almost a year) started having symptoms like she was pregnant. Sore breasts, tiredness, nausea etc, and was told that because she still had her ovaries she might still experience pms symptoms and thats all it was.

I don't mean to sound doubtful or disrespectful of what you believe and if you are pregnant than congrats and good luck but I never thought you could get pregnant without having a uterus so thats why I was wondering if you have been to the doc or if it is just your own diagnosis.

I recently saw a show on a health channel where a woman was pregnant with triplets and one grew outside the whomb, so it is possible. They also say that if a man was implanted with fertilized egg, he could carry a baby! A major risk is that the placenta attaches to the nearest organ to survive and it may greatly damage that organ. Hopefully you got lucky and it has attached to something that will sustain it. Good luck and god bless.

Update
Still cannot pass the urine test or blood test.......

I cant even pass the blood hcg, but I am preg in my abdomen.

I have not uterus. I went in for a u/s too, and the baby should have been like 1/4 of an inch and they did not find him in the u/s either. But it is too late to tell me im not pregnant. First of all I know I am for I have all the symptoms and by now I can feel him, cuz no uterus in between us, and he is surfacing by my belly button and I can feel him. Last night I felt him push off like a swimmer going on next lap. It was so cute. He is about 1 1/2 inches and I have physically felt him moving for about 2 weeks. First time it was just like a gurgleing in the bag, but I felt it none the less.

I think I cant pass the test cuz I have no endometrium for the baby to implant and for endometrium too send the signal to my brain to trigger preduction of hcg. I do know I have plenty of progestrone in production. That is where all the symptoms come from. Asked him to run the progestrone test, needs to do the a-fetoprotein test too. They show with abdominal pregnancy. Most of them I have heard of without uterus they never know they are preg, they think its a tumer or something. Until they go into explore.
