Hi,

does anyone else get windows of good health?

I had one this spring. I struggle with a sleeping disorder, fatigue and weight gain. During the window this spring, I got up at 7:00am, ate three meals a day, dieted and exercised. I had good energy. It lasted six weeks or 42 days. I was sooooooooo happy!

Now it's late summer, not typically an 'up' time for me like the spring was... And i'm getting another window! This one is just two weeks old. It doesn't feel as strong as the spring, so it will propbably burn out quicker. We'll see.

I read somewhere that windows of good health just get more and more frequent and longer and longer, until sickness evaporates. Has anyone else read this?

At this rate, I will get three months minimum of good health out of this year. Better than nothing. Onwards and upwards!

Does anyone else experience windows!

What are yours like!

Do you have trouble convincing your doctor you ever felt bad when you're in a window?

Thanks,

jane.

Hi Jane
I've spoken with you before on bipolar aware. I do have windows of good health but unforunately my general health is really poor right now (unrelated to bipolar). I've been stable for going on two years now and that's the longest i've been well for in over a decade.

How are you doing? I hope you're well.

Hey!
Hi writer_girl,

sorry to hear your general health is poor but happy to hear your bipolar has been stable for two years. My bipolar has been stable for five years tho this last year has been pretty flaky.

Currently, i'm so excited and happy, because i'm trying to sell a condo I bought four months ago (heart broken over that) but after waiting for my real estate agent to return from abroad, and then over the long weekend, she finally contacted me!

She e-mailed me and she assumes I am selling because of the hike in condo fees. It's nice she didn't condemn me for bad budgeting, which it actually partly is due to. She said she doesn't 'list' properties, but will contact the sales agent for the building who does this evening and get back to me tomorrow.

Oh, i'm so happy to get some movement on this thing! Waiting is so hard! It's the anxiety, I guess.

Now let's hope for a quick sale!

Take care,

jane.
