Hello, very worried about skin problem have had since january! Not getting any better. Have been tested for genital herpes, mrsa, and a few other skin conditions, all of which results have been negative; to the doctor 3-4 times and they only give me antibiotic which makes condition better for short while then it comes back. I am seeing dermatologist soon hopefully about this. I don't understand what it is or the cause of it, or how to rid of it.
Symptoms are as such: starts as a bad itch, then becomes painful sore, grows firm and red, then after up to a week can break open and release fluid. After the fluid is gone from inside, the sore sometimes goes away completely and leaves a bruise. Other times, the sore still stays and is painful. Once one sore goes away, usually another comes in not much time after. I don't understand it, but have been dealing w/it since january, and it has become very painful to point at which it hurts to sleep, or for anything to rub against the sores in the least! The sores occur on my thighs and groin.
I just need an answer, and it worries me so much as to what it might be. It seems to have gotten worse in this hot weather. I experienced less of the sores over the winter!
I run 100-110 miles per week, so sometimes doctors tell me it may have something to do w/sweating or shaving. But have never experienced until january, one of the coldest months of the year, if not the coldest!
